Pandemic Playhouse to Air on PBS’ The Friday Zone

 

Los Angeles, CA - Outcry Entertainment is proud to announce that Pandemic Playhouse will air on the Emmy award winning PBS show The Friday Zone throughout 2021.

 

Pandemic Playhouse is an educational web series created by Ibba Armancas, Timothy Grant, and Supriya Limaye to help elementary and middle school students understand and cope with the Covid-19 pandemic. 

 

Shot using CDC guidelines in Ibba’s living room by a volunteer crew looking to make a difference, the show stars Ibba Armancas, Emmy and Latin Grammy Award winner Alisha Gaddis, Mark Meer (Mass Effect),  Bonnie Gordon (Fire Emblem), and comedians Anthony Dayo and Darrel Haynes, with guest appearances ranging from Kevin Quinn (Netflix’s A Week Away) to NASA Scientist Christine Morran. 

 

Episodes will first air on The Friday Zone's YouTube channel and the PBS passport app starting the weekend of April 3rd, then be broadcast as a part of The Friday Zone via WTIU PBS on Friday, April 23rd. There will be a new episode every Friday following, then those will repeat over the summer and into the fall.

 

The series also features sets from the legendary Bob Baker Marionette Theatre and the classical Luchador school Pro Wrestling Revolution.
